We are a small hobby breeder of companion Scottish Folds, RagaMuffins, and Munchkin cats located in the Eastern Washington region of the Pacific Northwest.

We produce only a few carefully planned breeding’s each year, allowing us to share our beautiful kittens with loving families.

Healthy Kittens:

Our breeding cats are FeLV/FIV tested negative.

All of our kittens receive a veterinary wellness exam, their first vaccination, a series of de-wormings, are microchipped, and most are spayed or neutered prior to leaving for their new homes.

Our program also helps support you and your kitten with 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance, offering Instant Coverage & No Waiting Periods: Policies can be activated on the day of adoption, covering illnesses/injuries immediately upon leaving our care at no additional cost to you.

Why it’s important to know where your kittens come from?

Scottish folds and Munchkin’s are a relatively healthy breeds, but those folded ears and short legs are susceptible to early forms of arthritis.

Breeding Scottish Folds and Munchkins cats requires a range of ethical consideration and practices when choosing breeding pairs.

Selective Breeding:

Did you know that if a folded-ear Scottish Fold is bred to another folded-ear Scottish Fold, the offspring develop a severe, crippling lameness early in life often leading to juvenile euthanasia. This occurs because the gene responsible for the folded ears is linked to a cartilage abnormality that can affect the joints and bones.

Similar complications apply when breeding a short-legged munchkins, to another short-legged munchkin. Kittens from these pairings develop severely crippling arthritis very early in life and often exhibit severe skeletal deformities such as lordosis (a spinal malformation) and pectus excavatum (a concave chest). These conditions can lead to respiratory restriction and compression of internal organs as the kitten grows. These pairing also increase the chance of

of inheriting two copies of the dominant "lethal" gene, which causes the embryos to be reabsorbed or the kittens to be stillborn

For this reason, responsible breeders pair a folded-ear Scottish Fold with a straight-eared Scottish Fold, rather than another folded-ear cat. The same principle applies when breeding Munchkins. Ethical breeders pair a short-legged Munchkin with a long-legged (standard-leg) cat, rather than breeding two short-legged cats together.
